Eastern Illinois University hires a new head coach for the Panther men's and women's swimming programs.
EIU director of athletics Tom Michael says Jacqueline Michalski will take over the position in the coming weeks.
Michael says Michalski is a former swimmer at the State University of New York Oswego and has coached at both the club and NCAA level for the past six years.
She is a former coach at Saint Francis University and King's College in Pennsylvania.
Eastern says along with her experience as a swim coach, Michalski is certified as an American Red Cross lifeguard, first aid and CPR instructor.
