One former University of Illinois athlete is taking home a medal from the Olympics for the first time!
Aja Evans won a bronze medal in the two-man bobsled at the Sochi Olympics.
The U of I track and field athlete achieved the bronze medal with her partner Jamie Greubal posting a time of 3
minutes and 51.61 seconds.
The team from USA of Elana Meyers and Lauryn Williams won the silver.
Canada took home gold.
