Paris is honoring a veteran with a full military tribute nearly 40 years after his death.
Otis J. Neal was a solider in the Mexican Border Expedition and served in both World Wars.
He's buried at the Edgar County Cemetery.
Friends of Neal and the cemetery board felt he deserved a more fitting memorial for the time he served for our country.
The board will hold a ceremony for Neal Memorial Day weekend to dedicate a monument at his grave.
The ceremony starts at eleven Saturday May 24th.
