The Eastern Illinois University womens' volleyball team lost in action at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship Thursday at Wetherby Gym in Morehead Kentucky.
The number three Panthers fell short in a upset loss against the No.6 Eastern Kentucky in the opening game of the conference championship.
The upset ends the Panther season at 18 and 12 overall.
The women ended the regular season 12 and 4 and earned the OVC West Division first place team honors.
