A local petcare business is growing!
Mars Petcare U-S announced Friday they'll be tackling a 50 million dollar expansion of its pet food manufacturing facility located in Mattoon.
Officials say construction on the 65,000 square foot addition has already started and should take a year to complete.
They say the growth is expected to bring more than 30 jobs to the area.
This addition will also expand one of the company's most popular dog treats Pedigree Dentastix.
