A professor with a 50 year career at the University of Illinois has been terminated.
On Thursday, the University Board of Trustees voted unanimously to remove Engineering Professor Louis Wozniak.
Wozniak was accused of harrassing a student, improperly obtaining and publishing grades and sending an email to students that included a sexual reference.
Administrators say this is the first time a tenure decision has gone to the board.
Wozniak says he's disappointed by the decision.
He says he hopes his case prompts the faculty to form a union to oppose what he says is an authoritarian administration.
