Christmas may come early for some local community members.
One Stop Community Christmas is a program that will provide a number of different gifts for children in need up to age 18.
The program assists residents in Coles, Cumberland, Shelby, Douglas, Moultrie, Edgar, and Clark counties.
Parents who wish to sign their children up for the event must bring a photo ID to register them.
Registration starts Nov. 11 and will run through Dec. 5.
