5:30 p.m. | Dash Diet with Marla Heller, M.S., R.D.

Based on the NY Times bestselling book, The Dash Diet Action Plan. Unlike any diet before it, DASH, which stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, came out of groundbreaking NIH-funded research.

The DASH diet is grounded in healthy eating principles that lower blood pressure; reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer; and support reaching and maintaining a healthy weight. No diet has a medical pedigree like DASH - that's why The DASH Diet Action Plan hit all the Best Seller lists, including the NY Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly.

Hosted by NY Times Bestselling author Marla Heller, MS RD, the DASH Diet is ranked #1 "Best Diet Overall" by US News & World Report for three years running. A pioneer in teaching patients about the DASH Diet since the '90s, Heller has perfected an actionable plan that can fit seamlessly into everyday living.
