A Villa Grove man is facing charges after threatening to shoot children at a local grade school.

Douglas County State's Attorney Kevin Nolan says 36-year-old Timothy Little was arrested Sunday after a domestic dispute with his wife.

During that dispute, Nolan says Little made comments he was going to shoot young children at North Ward School in Tuscola.

Authorities say they seized more than 50 guns and thousands of rounds of ammunition from Little's home in Villa Grove.

He's charged with making a terrorist threat, two counts of stalking and domestic battery.

Nolan says Little did have a valid FOID card.

He returns to court February 6th.
