A local community is receiving grant funding to make some improvements!
Governor Pat Quinn annouced the recipients of federal historic preservation grants on Thursday and Marshall was on the list!
The town will receive almost $2,000 to update and reprint a walking and driving tour booklet of historic places.
The department pays up to 70% of project's costs.
Local funds will cover the rest.
