A local band director is charged with sexual misconduct and child seduction.
Robert Yeley, Oblong High and elementary school's band director, is charged with sexual misconduct and child seduction in Morgan County Indiana.
Morgan County State's Attorney Steve Sennega says in court documents Yeley was sexually involved with a child under the age of 16.
Oblong Superintendent Jeff Patchett says Yeley has been on unpaid leave since being charged.
Patchett says Yeley has not and will not be allowed on school grounds since his arrest, and there are no indications of misconduct involving Yeley in Oblong.
His next court appearance is October 11th.
