One person is in custody after a bank robbery in Champaign.
Police say just before 12pm Wednesday, a man walked into the Central Illinois Bank on Springfield Avenue.
They say the supect handed a teller a note demanding money.
Authorities say a female teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.
Witnesses say the suspect acted like he had a gun, though a weapon wasn't displayed.
Shortly after the robbery, police detained 26-year-old Kaleb Shields.
Shields was found in the backyard of a residence in the 200 block of East Hill Street.
No injuries were reported.
Police say seven employees and two customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery.
