The city of Marshall is getting a new swimming pool.
Marshall Mayor John Trefz says the city council voted and accept a bid of more than 3.2 million dollars from Leander Construction in Canton Illinois.
John Trefz says they're hoping to break ground by March or April 2018.
Trefz also says the new pool will be located on North Second Street in Marshall.
The city's current pool was built back in 1956.
