Man Arrested Accused of Whipping Children

Mattoon police arrest a man for whipping three kids with a belt.
Police say 29-year-old Earl Criglear of Harvey Illinois was arrested yesterday in the 1800 block of South 9th Street.
Authorities say the victims ranged in age from 5 to 7 years old.
They say Criglear whipped the children to the point of leaving marks on various parts of their bodies.
He's charged with aggravated battery to a child and remains in jail.
