The Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that left two people dead.
Police said the crash happened yesterday afternoon on Illinois Route 130 at Cumberland County Road 500 North.
They said a truck driven by 35-year-old Jessica Shutts of Greenup was traveling south on Route 130, when she lost control of her vehicle, crossing into the other lane causing a collision with a truck driven by 60-year-old Tony Guffey of New Harmony Indiana.
Authorities said Shutts and her passenger 30-year-old Anthony Scheiner of Paris were killed in the accident.
Guffey was not seriously injured, and the investigation is ongoing.
