An Illinois Congressman has honored the Charleston High School boy’s golf team.
Illinois Representative John Shimkus entered a statement into the permanent Congressional Record recognizing Charleston's 2A State Championship win.
Shimkus said they should all be very proud of their accomplishments this season, while wishing them nothing but the best in the future.
It's well earned for the Trojans as the team shot nine strokes better than the second place finisher.
