With the holiday season quickly approaching, some may feel they are unable to provide for their children.
Mattoon's Cops for Kids program is now accepting applications to help those families.
Officials said applications can be picked up in the lobby or dispatch center of the police department.
Department officials said applications will be accepted until December 1st.
Officials said the program accepts kids 4-12 years old.
