A Tolono woman is arrested and accused of shaking an infant in her care.
Officials said 41-year-old Michele Reed is facing charges of aggravated battery of a child after police received a call of an unresponsive infant in her home.
They said the sixth month old suffered brain damage and remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Officials said if convicted, Reed could face up to 30 years in prison.
They said Reed's next court appearance is set for December 12th.
