The Eastern Illinois volleyball team is back for a new season, but is still dealing with some similar problems.
The Panthers opened with exhibition play over the weekend, and a slow start led to a five-set loss against IUPUI.
They can try to change their fortune this weekend though as the games start to count in a season-opening tournament.
Eastern hosts Green Bay, Bradley, and Memphis in the EIU Panther Invitational beginning Friday at Lantz Arena.
