Cash Reward Offered in Mattoon Car Burglary Case

A cash reward is being offered for information on a series of burglaries in Mattoon.

Mattoon police say on July 7th, serveral cars were burglarized around town including one incident at Lytle Park and another in the parking lot of Planet Fitness.

They say purses, credit cards, and checks were taken.

Police are wanting to interview two persons of interest.

Crimestoppers will pay cash rewards up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
