The Eastern Illinois University football team prepares to put their spring training into action!
The Panthers wrap up spring practices tomorrow afternoon in their annual Blue and White game.
Eastern's team will be divided, offense versus defense, and scoring will be recorded in a variety of ways, from stopping drives to defensive touchdowns.
Coach Kim Dameron says the staff has yet to determine who will fill key positions on the team, but this game will show who's willing to go after it.
The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
The Panthers open the 2017 season on August 31st at Indiana State before playing on the road at Northern Illinois on September 9th.
Eastern's home opener will be September 16th against Illinois State in the Mid-America Classic.
