The city of Charleston is approving a "no solicitors" list.
The city council approved a measure establishing a list for residents that would prevent solicitors from knocking on their doors.
The ordinance also changes city rules for those looking for donations in the streets for various charitable groups.
Solicitors will also have to get a permit from the city if they want to go door to door.
