Eastern Illinois baseball team brings their homestand to an end against a Southern Illinois squad.
The Panthers are 5-and-19 for the season after taking down Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Coaches Field earlier today.
Eastern took an early lead with four runs alone in the first inning, leaving Carbondale with a struggling one run.
After having to rally back in Tuesday's match up, the Panthers work on keeping a lead.
Eastern was able to run in a game ending 10-7, which puts them on a three-game win streak.
They'll be back on the road for a weekend series against Tennessee Tech.
