Money for Chicago Schools

Governor Bruce Rauner says he'll meet with legislative leaders to negotiate a budget deal. 

Rauner says he's willing to include money he vetoed for Chciago public schools if it's part of a "comprehensive package."

He said Frieday meetings are scheduled Saturday and Sunday with the four legislative leaders and he said hes, "Not taking anything off the table."

On Thursday he vetoed a measure that provided $215 million to help CPS make it's pension payment. 

The Illinois Senate voted to override the veto.

Illinois' stopgap state budget expires December 31st.
