The city of Effingham still hasn't taken any action toward the construction of a new police station.
The city held a public hearing earlier this month where they proposed to issue 9.5 million dollars in bonds for the station's construction.
City administrator James Ardnt said the city council already approved the station's design, but a date for the final project approval hasn't been set.
