Effingham police are looking for the person who stole ornaments and other mementos from a local cemetery. They also say, so far, sixteen ornaments have been stolen. All of the ornaments along with a stolen concrete bench are valued at nearly one thousand dollars. The cemetery caretaker says he hasn't seen anything like this in ten years and these thefts are just shocking. Police say they have no leads or suspects at the moment . They say they're reaching out to the community for help and if anyone has any information on the thefts to call Crimestoppers.
