Firefighters determine what caused a fire at a Taylorville company.
Fire captain Matthew Adermann says the fire at Ahlstrom Filtration, located on 1200 east Elm Street, started around 11 a.m. on Monday.
Adermann says the incident started when the insulation inside a saturation machine overheated.
Ahlstrom Filtration Inc. is a fiber-based materials company.
Authorities say six units responded to the fire and were not at the sight for more than an hour.
Adermann says the damage was contained to the macherinery and no injuries were reported.
