The Lake Land softball team is headed to nationals!
The team clinched the 2016 NJCAA Division 1 Regional 24 Championship and will begin play in the national tournament May 18th in St. George, Utah.
This is the fifth time the Lake Land College softball team has earned the championship title since 2011.
The team went 52-13 this season under the leadership of coach Nic Nelson.

The Laker softball team will play the first game of the NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament in Utah Wednesday evening.
Lake Land College is seeded 10th and will take on NE Oklahoma A & M, seeded seventh, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 8:30 p.m. CST.
