Former Decatur Cop Pleads Guilty

A former Decatur police officer has pleaded GUILTY to criminal misconduct.    

Matthew Knuckles was a former narcotics investigator for the department.

Officials say an internal investigation was launched against Knuckles in February.

They say that investigation revealed the officer was creating false documents to cover up his misuse of nearly $10,000.

Knuckles was sentenced to 24 months probation, and was orded to pay a $1,000 fine and pay back the stolen money.
