Friday, 1 May 2015

Eastern Illinois University prepares to say goodbye to its president. Next month, Dr. William Perry will leave Eastern after serving as president for nearly eight years. Students, staff, and the community had the opportunity to say a few last words to the university's leader as the school year comes to an end. Perry assures students and staff, he won't be a stranger once his steps down as president. He plans regular visits to the university and says he'll even be back in the fall for Homecoming. Perry's term is ends in June. Doctor David Glassman will then take office as the university's twelfth president.
