Work is moving right along on an East Central Illinois sports and wellness center. Effingham Park District officials have spent months planning the Richard G. Workman Sports Complex, and that time and effort will soon pay off! News Watch's Jesse Guinn gives us a sneak peek at what Effingham residents will have to look forward to this time next year! The facility will include two pools, two basketball courts, and two volleyball courts. Along with a fitness center, common areas, and party rooms for the community to rent. The Effingham park's district also tells us taxes will not be raised since most of the project's funding comes from donations or funding the park district has already saved.
