A former Terre Haute teacher has pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct with a student.
Police arrested Erin Baynard Stewart in 2010 on allegations she had sexual encounters with the 14-year-old twice.
Stewart had been one of the boy's teachers at Chauncey Rose Middle School in Terre Haute.
Stewart will be sentenced in June.
She has surrendered her teaching license.
