The Eastern Illinois Panthers shattered their nine game losing streak against the Southern Illinois Salukis.
Early errors by the Salukis allowed the Panthers to capitalize and beat southern 11-7 Tuesday afternoon at Coaches Stadium.
The Panthers were able to score six unearned runs against five different SIU pitchers.
Although the Panthers led 11-3 in the ninth inning, EIU's pitchers struggled towards the end of the game forcing them to use three different pitchers.
