A local charity will hit a major milestone this weekend, serving its millionth meal!
Illini Fighting Hunger will package its one millionth serving of rice-soy casserole this Saturday!
The group facilitates food packaging, so it can be distributed by food pantries or food banks to the hungry.
The organization was founded in 2012 as a program of the Wesley Foundation in Urbana and the University of Illinois.
