Lake Land Tuition

Wednesday, 10 December 2014

This local college is giving out something a little different two years of free tuition! How does that sound? But as Margaret Langevin reports students wanting that free tuition need to work for it in high school first. Lake Land Community College's Board of Trustees approved a Presidential Scholarship Monday. This scholarship is awarded to high school students who receive a 26 or higher ACT score or rank in the top 15 percent of their graduating class. Students eligIble for the scholarship must be in the 15 county Lake Land district. They also must enroll the fall semester immediately following high school graduation. Bullock hopes 100 to 120 students will take advantage of the new offer.
