Paris Parks 9/1/14

Tuesday, 2 September 2014

While the Labor Day holiday is almost over, many families used today as a time to relax together at a local park. But in this town, several parks have been victims of vandalism. The Paris park board has been trying to decide if spending money on new equipment would be worth it, given the problems. News Watch's spent the day in Paris talking to families about what a prettier park, means to them. Park Board president Hilary Peterson says there is money set aside for new equipment. The Paris Park Board plans to put new equipment in areas that are not as affected by vandalism, so new additions won't be targets. Right now, the board says there's no time frame for when the new equipment will be installed.
