A man is taken to Carle Hospital in Urbana after an accident at Lake Mattoon.
Neoga Fire Department ambulance coordinator Alan Baker says the incident happened Saturday evening.
He says the department was dispatched to the lake for a man who jumped into the water and hit his head.
Baker says the victim, who's name is not being released, was treated for a serious back injury.
