Former Eastern Illinois Wide receiver Erik Lora was picked up by the Minnesota Vikings, but earlier today it was announced he was released from the team.
League rules required all teams to be down to 75 players by 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Lora was a two time first team all-american and the 2012 OVC offensive player of the year while at EIU.
No word yet on what Lora plans to do next.
