Sexual Assault Prevention at EIU

Friday, 8 March 2013

A local university says they won't tolerate sexual assaults so they're looking to make changes on campus.

Eastern Illinois University's Vice President for Student Affairs Dan Nadler has released recommendations by the university's Sexual Assault Task Force.

Those recommendations call for putting up more on-campus blue emergency phones, installing security cameras in EIU parking lots, and expanding the Sexual Assault Awareness Month programming.

University officials will be reviewing the proposal.
