Eastern Illinois University is making some security upgrades.
The Code Blue Emergency phones in various locations across Eastern's campus are being replaced.
EIU Director of Telecommunications Clay Hopkins says the phones were installed about 20 years ago.
Hopkins says the new phones cost more than $20,000 and will be put into service in the next few days.
