Two people wanted for armed robbery in Winnebago County, Illinois are arrested in Douglas County after several high-speed pursuits.
Douglas County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lindsay Whittington, 29, and Robert Taylor, 41, both of Rockford, after police made four attempts to pull their minivan over Wednedsay night.
Officials say the van was reported stolen from the Rockford area.
They say Whittington and Taylor have warrants for their arrest in Winnebago County for armed robbery with a handgun.
Whittington is also being charged with DUI, aggravated battery, aggravated fleeing and eluding, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
