Oblong H.S. Threat

Thursday, 21 February 2013

A Crawford County high school student is arrested after threatening to blow up a school.

Officials say Daniel Sanders, 18, told another student on Friday he was going to blow up the high school using C4 and rockets.

They say other students overheard the conversation and alerted school authorities who then called Oblong Police.

Oblong Police Chief Chad Pusey says Sanders admitted to making the threat and showed no emotion when police arrested him Friday.

He has been released on bond.

Pusey says Sanders didn't have access to explosives.
