An unofficial Saint Patrick's Day party forces Champaign's mayor is issue an official emergency order.
Unofficial is a weekend long party that draws thousands of students to the University of Illinois.
Mayor Don Gerard says the weekend of March 7th is this year's Unofficial and it causes a threat to public health, safety, and welfare.
The order places limitations on all businesses with a bar or restaurant liquor license the weekend of March 7th.
Those limitations include that all patrons must be 21 and beer pitchers can't be served.
