Upcoming Blood Drives

The winter weather has taken its toll on blood donations and the American Red Cross needs your help.
    
Many blood drives across the nation have been canceled causing blood shortages.
    
The Red Cross says they're in need of O Positive and O Negative as well as 'A' and 'B' negative blood types.
    
For those wanting to help out, the Red Cross will be making various stops in East Central Illinois seeking blood donations.


March 2 Salisbury Church, 2530 East Madison in Charleston, IL 1-6 p.m.

March 3 East Richland Elementary School, 1001 N Holly Road in Olney, IL 2:30-7:30 p.m.

March 4 Vandalia High School, 1109 N. 8th St. in Vandalia, IL 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

March 5 Altamont High School, 7 S Ewing in Altamont, IL 8 a.m.- 1 p.m.

March 11 Knights of Columbus, 210 South Pearl in Teutopolis, IL 1:30-6:30 p.m.

March 12 Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2020 Richmond Ave. in Mattoon, IL 12:30-5:30 p.m.

March 15 Charleston Public Library, 712 6th St. in Charleston, IL 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
