Two local counties will receive almost a million dollars for construction projects.
Governor Pat Quinn says part of that money will be used in Casey for new sidewalks, ramps, and landscaping.
He says Mattoon will receive money for repairs along a seven mile stretch near Lerna road.
Both projects are funded by Quinn's "Illinois Jobs Now" campaign.
