The Panther Club announced proceeds from their Spring Fling Thursday, an event held last Saturday in Lantz Arena.
This year's sold out showing helped raise a gross figure of $170,000 in support of the Panther Club and student-athlete scholarships.
During the evening, live and silent auctions were held to raise financial support for EIU Athletics, and Eastern Athletic Director Barbara Burke enjoyed the strong showing.
"The Spring Fling in Lantz Arena was magical once again," Burke said.
"This event provides a wonderful opportunity to come together in celebration of EIU Athletics and to financially support our Panther student-athletes. We truly appreciate everyone who attended Spring Fling and those who make the evening a success."
