The mother of a Watson girl killed in September is taken to jail.
Earlier today Ciara DeRyke, 26, was charged with obstruction of a peace officer.
Effingham County State's Attorney Brian Kibler says on September 8th during the initial investigation into Willow Long'S disappearance, DeRyke told deputies she had interacted with her daughter that morning.
Authorities say they don't believe Ciara participated in Willow's death or knew that her child had been killed.
Ciara's brother, Justin DeRyke, is accused of murdering Willow.
His jury trial is February 10th.
Also today, Ciara pleaded guilty to a drug paraphanalia charge.
Officials say she was fined $750 after pleading guilty to having a device used for cannabis.
