A local university says its tuition, as well as room and board rates, won't go up for incoming students next year.
The Eastern Illinois University Board of Trustees says they're committed to college affordability and accessibility to higher education.
Officials say this is the first time since the 1992-93 school year that tuition rates have remained constant.
It's also the first time in nearly 40 years that a year has gone by without increases in room and board rates.
