The University of Illinois men's basketball team looked to stay undefeated as they took on the Valparaiso Crusaders Wednesday night.
U of I led at halftime, but Valpo made a second half charge bringing the game within two points with only 6:43 left in the game.
But the Illini would answer with back-to-back buckets increasing their lead which would continue to grow as U of I would eventually beat Valpo 64-52.
The Illini's next game is set for Sunday at home against Bradley University.
