Illini fans can expect some changes to their football experience next year.
University of Illinois athletics has unveiled plans to collaborate with Daktronics to install a new video display in Memorial Stadium. The new HD display is set to measure 96 feet wide by 36 feet tall, dwarfing the previous display that came in at 39 feet wide by 22 feet tall.
The video board will become operational sometime in the summer of 2013.
